Miranda Lambert became the most awarded artist in Academy of Country Music Awards history during tonight’s 53rd Annual ACM Awards in Las Vegas. She won Song of the Year for “Tin Man,” breaking the record title of the winningest artist in ACM history. Lambert also scored her ninth consecutive win in the Female Vocalist of the Year category, where she was already the record holder for most consecutive wins. Carrie Underwood returned to the ACM Awards stage with the TV debut of her new single “Cry Pretty,” making her first public appearance since a November fall that required her to have surgery on a broken wrist and left behind a facial injury needing over 40 stitches. Chris Stapleton won two awards: for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for “From a Room: Vol. 1,” and Jason Aldean won the top award, Entertainer of the Year, for the third straight year.
