After 23 years, David Lee Murphy is back in the No.1 spot on country radio with his Kenny Chesney collaboration, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.” Murphy went back into the studio per Chesney’s request, after the country superstar pleaded with the songwriter to share the many tunes he’s written over the years. The song, from Murphy’s new album No Zip Code, landed at No.1 on both the Billboard and MediaBase’s Country Singles charts. Fans will get to hear the song live throughout the summer as Murphy tours the country with his own dates, as well on special stops of Chesney’s Trip Around The Sun Tour.
