For the first time in it’s history, Farm Aid will be heading to Connecticut for its 2018 event. Along with Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews, the festival will host a lineup of the biggest names in country music. Chris Stapleton will make a first-time appearance, joining Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid. The 33rd annual installment of the event will be held at Xfinity theater in Hartford on Sept. 22. Farm Aid’s mission each year is to help family farmers thrive throughout the country. Since its inception in 1985, Farm Aid has raised more than $50 million for family farmers. Tickets for Farm Aid 2018 will go on sale Friday, June 29 at 10 AM ET through Live Nation.
