Devin Dawson’s recent California Smoke Tour raised more than $12,000 for the California Fire Foundation.
The cause is personal for Dawson — not only does he hail from the Golden State, he has many close family members who are firefighters. His grandfather has 25 years of service as a fireman, while his uncle has 35.
“Having the opportunity to get back, and give back, to my home state in this way was very meaningful to me,” said Dawson of the 6-stop tour.
Dawson currently has a top-fifteen hit with “God’s Country,” his single with Blake Shelton.
