Rain is a stunning Pit/Catahoula Mix who was discarded by his owner and is now ready to find a home of his own, with a family to love and be spoiled. He will need a secured, fenced yard for supervised exercise and play time. If other dogs are in the home, a meet and greet is necessary. We’re unsure if he is good with kids, so bring them too. He will need limited activity while on his slow kill meds for Heartworm, and will need monthly Heartworm prevention for life. He needs a committed adopter who will make sure he gets his meds.
Rain is current on basic vaccinations, been dewormed, and is microchipped. He has tested POSITIVE for Heartworm, but it’s a light positive, and has been started on meds.
Rain has now been neutered and received his required Rabies vaccination as of May 19, 2022. He will need about a week to recover from his surgery before leaving to a new home. Applications are being accepted.
