Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation surpassed its goal of adopting out 50 dogs by the end of the festival, and instead sent 61 dogs to new homes, according to Lambert’s team.
“To the uninitiated, it probably sounded like dogs barking. But to me, knowing the pure joy that comes with owning a rescue dog – or eight – it was music to my ears,” Miranda Lambert said in a press release.
